National Public Policy Dialogue: Advancing RDF Production and Utilization in Indonesia

On 10 September 2024, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, in close collaboration with UNDP through the Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia (SIPA), convened a National Public Policy Dialogue on Advancing RDF Production and Utilization in Indonesia. The event brought together representatives from line ministries, the private sector, universities, and academia.

The dialogue aimed to unite key stakeholders from diverse sectors to examine the current landscape, challenges, and opportunities of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) production and utilization in Indonesia. Discussions centered on policy frameworks, environmental impacts, industrial applications, and market dynamics, with the goal of fostering collaboration and advancing the national RDF agenda.
